The SHT-2020 RFID multi-protocol handheld reader is suitable for easy reading of HF transponders. The data is transmitted via WLAN or Bluetooth LE. It is also possible to control the device remotely via the built-in interfaces, e.g. to write the data to a database in real time.
Thanks to a reading range of up to 12 cm for 16 mm coins and up to 32 cm for transponders with the size of a credit card, the handheld reader is ideal for reading multiple transponders, e.g. in stacks of laundry.
If the handheld reader is ordered together with the SBS-1010 base station, both devices are preconfigured so that the handheld reader behaves like a device connected directly to the PC when the base station is connected to a PC. This reduces the configuration effort and makes pairing with the PC via Bluetooth superfluous. Alternatively, the handheld reader can be configured so that it can be connected to a PC, smartphone or tablet as a Bluetooth LE keyboard, similar to a barcode scanner.
